How it Started
I made my first two bears seven years ago for my nieces when their father passed unexpectedly. I wanted to find a way for them to have something of their father's to hold, so I took some of his favorite flannel shirts and made two bears. The girls loved them, the word spread, and now I think I've made a Bear from just about everything you could think of. From T-shirts to dress shirts, coats, robes, blankets, furs, pajamas.....you name it.
How to Get Started
First get your ideas together on what you would like your Bear made of. Almost any garment, including baby clothes will do. My Bears are 17" tall and are high quality, jointed at both legs, arms, and head. I stabilize all fabric to ensure durability and quality.
How to Personalize
I love to incorporate anything I can with your Bear to personalize it for you. I've added company logos, rotary pins, shirts, earrings, hats, purses, ties, etc, while making theme Bears for cooking, Martini Bear, and High School Sprit Bear. The sky's the limit. Let me know what you're thinking and we'll work it out.
